What is the best way to learn Chinese?

Hi everyone im new here and im trying to learn chinese tell me whats the best course to take to learn. I have looked at some but found them to b high priced. can you make some suggestions.thank you. monte

Conversational Mandarin Chinese: Learn to Speak and Understand Mandarin

by Pimsleur

I bought it on amazon.com for about $25 US

What do you mean? An online course? There is a Chinese community in my neighborhood that offers courses, but you do not live over here. You could buy a book. There is free software. How would you like to learn?

Hi do you have a school nearby they may have night classes that are not to bad
you could try chinesepod.com there are free lessons you can listen to
they are very good
